“Library in the park”: highlights of the summer project

The project was created to help schoolchildren spend their summer holidays in an interesting and useful way and to encourage them to read more books.

During the summer holidays, children took part in different literary, educational and creative activities outdoors. They read books, shared their ideas, played educational games and took part in creative activities.

The main goals of the project were to increase children’s interest in reading, help them use their free time well, develop a love of literature and support their creative skills.

The ceremony was opened by Bayan Adyrbek, recipient of the “Qurmet” Order, Candidate of Historical Sciences and Honorary Citizen of Turkistan, and Bakytzhan Beisembayev, member of the Turkistan Regional Public Council, Chairman of the Turkistan Regional Mediation Council, Head of the “Bitimger” Public Association of Mediators and Honorary Citizen of Turkistan.

The guests spoke to the young readers about the importance of books and reading. They said that books help children learn new things, develop their thinking and understand the world better.

They encouraged the children to read more, learn new things, develop their talents and make books their good friends.

Parents who love reading and encourage their children to read were also recognized. They received awards in the categories “Best Reading Family” and “Reading Father”.

The special guests of the event also included Nesipkul Utebayeva, a member of the Union of Journalists of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Union of Writers of the Turkic World, Honored Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and recipient of the “Honored Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan” and “Ybyrai Altynsarin” badges, as well as poet Aigerim Zhumabayeva.

The guests congratulated the young readers and shared their warm wishes. They spoke about the important role of books in our lives and the connection between reading, education and personal development.

During the final event, special attention was given to active readers and families who regularly visit the library and take part in its cultural and educational activities.

Young readers who showed their creative talents received awards in the “Talented Reader” category.

Children who love poetry and showed their poetic abilities received awards in the “Inspired Reader” category.

As part of the “A Book — An Endless World, Limitless Opportunities” project, active readers were also recognized. These children showed a strong interest in books, wanted to learn new things and worked to broaden their knowledge. They received awards in the “Best Reader” category.

The closing speech was given by Rysbek Ermekuly Letaev, Director of the Turkistan Regional Children’s Library named after I. Altynsarin.

He thanked all the young readers for their active participation in the project. He also spoke about the importance of reading for children’s spiritual and intellectual development.

The Library Director wished the young readers creative inspiration, new discoveries, a love of learning and further success. He encouraged them to continue their friendship with books.

The winners of the “Best Reader of the Month” category for August were also awarded. They received certificates of appreciation and commemorative gifts.

The “Library in the Park” project has been held for two years and has become a good tradition for children during the summer holidays.

For two years, young readers have enjoyed reading books outdoors, sharing their ideas, playing literary and educational games and taking part in creative activities.

The project helped children spend their summer holidays in a useful and interesting way. It also helped them become more interested in reading and brought young readers closer to the library.

The active participation and interest of the children show that the project is important and useful. This gives the library a good reason to continue the project in the future.

The “Library in the Park” project will continue in the coming years. New literary meetings, educational activities and creative events will be organized in interesting and modern formats.

The library will continue its work to encourage children to read and develop a lasting love of books.
