The closing evening featured the life and creative works of Abai Kunanbayuly, as well as his rich literary and musical heritage. Meaningful excerpts from Abai’s Words of Edification were also presented, highlighting the enduring significance of his spiritual legacy for today’s generation.
The Turkestan Regional Ybyrai Altynsarin Children’s Library specially prepared for the celebration by creating an informative and visually engaging installation exhibition dedicated to the world of Abai. The exhibition gave guests an opportunity to explore the unique creative world of the great poet and was aimed at promoting his literary heritage and his profound ideas emphasizing morality, knowledge, and education. The installation exhibition complemented the content of the celebration and demonstrated the lasting relevance of Abai’s legacy and his works for the younger generation.
One of the significant moments of the closing event was the flower-laying ceremony at the monument to Abai. During the ceremony, tribute was paid to the spiritual legacy of the great poet, and it was emphasized that his timeless works will continue to be passed down from generation to generation.
The “The World of Abai – An Eternal Legacy” week concluded with a series of meaningful activities aimed not only at introducing the younger generation to the creative world of the great poet, but also at promoting national spirituality, fostering an interest in reading, and preserving Abai’s invaluable legacy for future generations.
