The grand opening of the summer season of the “ Open-Air Library ” project was held with the participation of Beissembayev Bakhytzhan Zharmakhanuly - member of the Public Council of Turkistan Region, Chairman of the Turkistan Regional Mediation Council, Head of the “Bіtіmger” Public Association of Mediators, and Honorary Citizen of Turkistan; Narymbetova Roza Sydykkyzy - member of the Union of Journalists of Kazakhstan and Honorary Journalist of the Republic of Kazakhstan; and Otebayeva Nesipkul Maimanhanovna - member of the Union of Journalists of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Writers’ Union of the Turkic World, Honored Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and recipient of the “Ybyrai Altynsarin” badge.
The distinguished guests officially opened the project and wished success in its implementation. They emphasized the importance of such meaningful initiatives aimed at increasing children’s interest in reading, noting that books are an endless source of knowledge, spiritual education, and personal development.
The guests extended their warm wishes to young readers and highlighted that the “Open-Air Library ” project will serve the community by providing children with an opportunity to spend their summer holidays in a meaningful, enjoyable, and beneficial way.
As part of the festive program, a book exhibition, literary games, and various activities were organized. Children explored their favorite books, participated in engaging games, and experienced memorable moments filled with joy and creativity. Active participants received books as gifts from the library.
During the summer season, the “ Open-Air Library ” project gives residents and visitors of the city the opportunity to read books outdoors, enjoy meaningful leisure time, and participate in cultural and educational events.
