As part of the event, literary and cultural programs were presented, including expressive reading performances, informative book exhibitions, and educational presentations. Participants exchanged views on the value of books, reading culture, and ways to encourage the younger generation to read, sharing meaningful thoughts and experiences.
During the award ceremony, the Director of the Turkistan Regional Farab Universal Scientific Library, Zhanat Sadibekkyzy, and the Director of the Turkistan Regional Y. Altynsarin Children’s Library, Rysbek Yermekuly, delivered speeches and honored the best readers who actively promoted reading culture.
Among those specially awarded with commemorative gifts were: Senbay Aiaru, “Best Reader” of the Turkistan City Centralized Library System; Myrzatai Ayan Kydyrbaiuly, “Best Reader” of the Kentau City Centralized Library System; Askar Akniyet Esengalikyzy, “Best Reader” of the Sauran District Centralized Library System; Kabassov Nurdaulet Sagidollauly, “Best Reader” of the Library of Turkic-speaking Peoples; Baltabai Kausar Maksatkyzy, “Best Reader” of the Turkistan Regional Farab Universal Scientific Library; the Tileubergenov family in the “Best Reader Family” nomination; Bozhbanbai Erdaulet, “Best Reader” of the Y. Altynsarin Regional Children’s Library; and the Onglassynov family in the “Best Reader Family” nomination.
